Keiko Necesario (PH)
First noticed from the first Philippine Popular Music Festival. She writes music from the heart and sings everyday. There’s nothing she can imagine loving more than family, melodies, lyrics, inspirations, romantic gestures, movies, dinners, hang outs, friends, fans, love, faith, jokes, courage, kindness, creativity, world, and her dogs. Follow her on twitter: @keikosoundslike

Influenced by Taylor Swift’s honesty and wit, Daughter’s serenity, Nat King Cole’s vibe, Joan Jett’s rebellion, and Barbie Almalbis’ melodies.

Jamilla (AU)
Jamilla combines haunting soul vocals, self-produced R&B beats and chill-wave synths to create a beautiful and seamless brand of nu-soul music. With an intense and captivating stage presence and emotive and politically charged lyrics, Jamilla expresses her appreciation for human vulnerability and invites you to experience hers.

In her short time performing music, Jamilla has already caught the eye of many members of the music community landing support spots for some of Perth’s finest including Stella Donnelly, Demon Days and Abbe May and National supports for Thelma Plum, Alex The Astronaut , Mojo Juju, Tijuana Cartel, Sex On Toast and 30/70; as well as appearing on festivals including Hidden Treasures, Perth Festival, and WAMFest.
Her debut, self-produced single “Beautiful” was launched in April of 2018 to a sold out show and left audiences in awe of this new, artistically independent producer and performer. Following her stellar debut release, Jamilla released her sophomore single “King” in sprint of 2018 which was joined by her debut National Australian Tour where she captivated new audiences around the country. During the same debut year, Jamilla also racked up an impressive 4 nominations for the 2018 WAM Awards.

In 2019 Jamilla returns after a three month writing hiatus where she spent time collaborating with producers including Tobacco Rat, Ukiyo, JCAL and others to work on developing her sound and production skillset. But don’t be misled, Jamilla’s new music is still her own from top to tail. On April 17th Jamilla launches her hard-hitting, impassioned and charged single “Bloom” which will be accompanied by an 18 date tour around the country featuring shows alongside Tijuana Cartel as well as her own headline shows.

Flannel Albert (US)
is a melodic hip-hop artist based in Los Angeles, CA.

He started in music from the young age of four, studying classical piano and music theory. Though he was raised in Portland, the rapper lived in Korea for a few years where his first project topped independent online music charts in Korea. He eventually settled in Brooklyn where he delved into hip-hop and joined the WH9LE Collective. The artist now resides in Los Angeles.

Flannel Albert’s music is an eclectic blend, reflecting his personal taste in music. Citing influences such as Drake, Childish Gambino, Sufjan Stevens, and Chance the Rapper, he fuses his classical music training with upbeat pop vibes all while incorporating electronic sounds, clever lyricism, and vibrant energy.

He is best known for his tracks aok, Asian Glow (w/ Filthy The Kid feat. Jesediah), and Centerfold (feat. Kendyle Paige), which have been featured on Spotify’s Editorial playlists. He wrote and was featured on Jon Chua JX’s breakout single in 2019, Ready for Ya.

T$OKO (AU)
“This music is my heart and soul.
It should tell you who I am more than I ever will or can.
I feel honoured to be able to share these vibes with the world because even though sometimes you can be misunderstood, you get the chance to express yourself – through this escape”

Hailing from Harare Zimbabwe, T$oko was destined to confute stigmas associated to impervious cultural restraints and draw on profound exposure from his musically diversified household. Coupled with tutoring of practical music awareness in formative school years; T$oko became acquainted with an aptitude to write – often harnessing the energy and dynamics of peers whom shared this propensity.

Evoking honourable recognition among those familiar with T$oko’s music; he is garnered by admirable acclaim as a credible solo artist within the notoriously competitive Perth music scene. Exhibiting spirited determination to connect with his audience on a personal level, T$oko proves his own mastery – eluding conformity of mainstream commercialism and establishing a refreshing uniqueness.

T$oko’s approach actively supports, and demonstrates equality to all artists, by reassuring abolishment of unnecessary discontinuity rivalled by dissimilar musical interests. He advocates music be devoid of judgement and suppression, instead instilling and maintaining its rich legacy through existing reciprocation between artists shared affinity for music.

T$oko’s debut track ‘Blasphemy/Mirror’ dropped in mid 2017, later accompanied by a double release of ‘Fourth Quarter’ and ‘Hakuna Matata’. These lyrical masterpieces gained acknowledgement and support by TRIPLE J and Triple J Unearthed. February 2018, was particularly memorable for T$oko after being announced victor of the TRIPLE J Unearthed Laneway Festival Competition. There, he performed alongside International artists: Anderson Paak, Mac DeMarco, and The Internet – to name a few.

A month later in March on the East Coast, T$oko supported the likes of International Hip-Hop artists/producers Wale, Metro Booming, Tyga, Madentyo and Lil Wayne at the sold-out Jumanji Festival in Melbourne and Sydney. Triple J Unearthed also dubbed T$oko an artist to ‘watch out for in 2018’, as well as a notable starting 5 independent hip-hop artists in Australia at the moment.

He added to his impressive list of collaborations by featuring on ‘Vibe’, a single from one of Australia’s largest EDM Producers – Just A Gent, amassing over 300K Spotify streams within the first few months of 2018 alone.T$oko also succeeded in earning his place in the first round acts announced on the Big Sound Lineup, which is the cornerstone of Australia’s new music festival.

It’s irrefutable, T$oko has witnessed strength to strength along his musical journey of genius. 2019, will undoubtedly showcase the tenacity, spirit and flawless workmanship of an undisputed artist, rising to new challenges and exceeding his musical parameters.

The creative-lab is already cooking in 2019, with already an opening slot performance at the Fall festival after-party for Anderson Paak’s Band – The Freenationals, a debut E.P in the works, features and multiple singles in the pipe-line too.

Without giving away ‘too much too soon’ – you can certainly appreciate that T$oko’s artistic merits will be sure to please.
